The Food Safari covers some hotspots in Colombo, as well as numerous super-authentic (local proven favorite) food stops along the way. We guarantee guests will experience some of the best local cuisine this beautiful city has to offer. This tour is not for the faint-hearted, as guests will be taken to some very local street food destinations. We can accommodate anyone and everyone on this tour as we have many options (vegetarian and non-spicy included). The Food Safari will take guests to seasonal eateries from the below:

  • Pick up from Hotel in Colombo at approximately 4pm
  • The Good Market (Sa t only) for some local snacks (Jackfruit cutlet included ifavailable)
  • Visit coffee and spice markets on Old Moor St & veggie roti (weekdays only)
  • 2nd Cross street and down Main St
  • Stop at Sadew Juice Bar for seasonal juice
  • Ceylon Tea on Marine Dr (Tea Triumph) - variety of tea tasting and tea education
  • Kottu at Sealord (Fyfe Rd)
  • Stop at Taste of Asia for egg hoppers (with coconut sambal, dhal and curry)
  • Local street food (curry, dhal, BBQ chicken etc.) at Hulfsdorp St - the highlight attraction!
  • Finish with curd and treacle on the way back to hotel
  • Drop off at Hotel at approximately 9:00pm
